A soulful journey, a brother's promise, safe water, self-reliance and dignity. This is the story of H2OpenDoors, a Rotary International project started by Jon Kaufman in 2012. Science, service and adventure converge here, taking you to all parts of the globe on expeditions that inspire villages and schools to become self-sustaining within one year.Jon Kaufman started the H2OpenDoors project within the 35,000-club Rotary International to move the needle on the global water crisis. Installing water purification plants and village enterprises, the project is more about self-reliance and dignity. Jon is co-owner of Kaufman, Levine & Partners, a Silicon Valley marketing firm. He is also a member of his Rotary club in Redwood City, California, and lives with his girlfriend in his home in San Carlos with their 3 dogs.
