"Adrift in New York: Tom and Florence Braving the World Jr Horatio Alger" is a great young adult story that is pleasant to read today as it was 100 years ago. It tells of the adventures of two teens who get into difficult life situations but bravely cope with them. Florence is a victim of intrigue. Tom is a kidnapped child, growing up as a noble young man. Together they are to solve the mysteries of the part and bring the justice back.
