This is the story of the Joseph of the old testament; the Joseph who is the main character in the musical "Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat". It is the story of good triumphing over evil and proclaims the belief that God will put everything that is wrong, right: that He has a plan for everyone. "The history of Joseph now becomes more and more a history of the triumph of faith over sight, or holiness over sin." The author William King Tweedie DD (1803-1863) was a historian, biographer and a minister of the Free Church of Scotland Tolbooth Church, Edinburgh.
