This work examines the reasons why St. Paul was not "ashamed of the Gospel of Christ." Addressing this work to the youth associated with the Church of England, Edward Hoare stated three reasons. He claimed that St. Paul was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ because of the divinity of its origin, the blessedness of its end, and the brilliance of its terms.
