This story revolves around Jacqueline Lanier. Her lot had been cast in very pleasant places since she came under Desmio Don Andres' care. Donna Isabella tells her she hopes that Desmio hasn't ruined her by giving her the wrong notion about her future. She warns her that Desmio can never adopt her because he has cousins of the true stock. Will Desmio eventually adopt her?
