'Hira Singh', also known as 'Hira Singh: When India Came to Fight in Flanders' is an adventure novel written by Talbot Mundy. The hero of the story is a Sikh officer, Ranjoor Singh, who leads a regiment of Sikh cavalry who were captured in battle in Flanders in the early days of World War I. They escaped from captivity and experienced many adventures as they made their way back to India.
